Stratford-upon-Avon is set to welcome another powerful Shakespearean production this spring as Henry V arrives at the Royal Shakespeare Company. Opening on 14 March 2026 and running until 25 April 2026, the play promises an exciting season for theatre lovers visiting the historic home of Shakespeare.

One of William Shakespeare’s most celebrated historical dramas, Henry V tells the story of England’s young king as he leads his country through conflict with France, culminating in the legendary Battle of Agincourt. Known for its stirring speeches, political intrigue and exploration of leadership, the play remains one of Shakespeare’s most inspiring works. Lines such as the famous “Once more unto the breach” speech continue to captivate audiences and performers alike.

Staged by the world-renowned Royal Shakespeare Company, this latest production is expected to draw visitors from across the UK and beyond. Stratford-upon-Avon, already rich with literary history, becomes even more vibrant during major performances, with theatre-goers enjoying the town’s charming streets, riverside walks and cultural heritage before and after the show.

Running from 14 March through to 25 April 2026, the production offers audiences several weeks to experience Shakespeare’s tale of courage, unity and determination brought vividly to life on stage.
