There are plenty of beautiful walks direct from the cottage, both around Stratford and the Cotwolds. There is an extensive collection of walking and cycling books available for guests to borrow.



From the 8th century, Shipston was an important sheep market. The town boasts a 15th Century church tower, and many coaching inns.

The charming village of Broadway nestles is regarded by many as the quintessential English village. Broadway is an important centre for the arts, home to a variety of top class Cotswold galleries providing a broad range of art works.
